Manage Schedule Times

Depending when you want PSM to do the Queries, you can specify the Week Days, Starting Hour, and Interval of the Printer Queries and the Email Sending.

Please Note, that in larger Networks it can take quite a while, to complete a Printer Query. Also it should be considered, that some Printers are not powered on, while a Printer Query is running. In such a case, PSM will use the Results from the last Query.

We recommend to use the following values:

Printer Query:   Starting Time: 06:30  / every 2 Hours / Mo-Fr

Email Sending: Starting Time: 13:00  / every 9 Hours / Mo-Fr

You may also choose, if PSM should send a Monthly Statistic Report. If enabled, the Report will be generated after Midnight at the 1th of each months. The Report will be sent out to the Email Recipients configured in the Program Administration. See "Send Usage Report" below for more Details about the Report.

Manual Start

You can also always start a Query manually if needed.

Send usage Report

PSM collects information on each device each Time an Order is sent. This information is stored in a SQL Database and will be sent by Email to the Addresses specified in the Program Administration. The Format of the Attachment is CSV and can be opened for Example by Excel.

The Usage Report (Statistic) always contains the following Columns for each defined Printer:

Important: The usage Report (statistic) is cumulative. This means:

Things to know

If you have bought the PSM on a predefined closed System from Sysprint AG, the Scheduler will be started at System Boot Time.

If you bought the Software only, you will need to call scheduler.php into your System Startup, eg. setup a cron Job.
